Our Gaia Bag Mission is to empower the global community to take action in improving their lives, the lives of others and the vitality of our Earth. Our fundraisers, events and private vending enable people to become more eco-conscious by re-using canvas shopping bags. In turn, reducing the need for paper, plastic and polypropylene bags.

Inspired by Gaia Bags mission and her desire to help empower children and communities, Jodi gained the position of President/CEO in February 2011. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.A. in Mass Communication and a minor in Community Nutrition in December 2010. With work experience in a foreign national health agency, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation and international studies through Europe, Jodi knows first hand the epidemic we are facing. She is passionate to promote healthy, sustainable communities.
Since joining Gaia Bag in February 2011, Caroline's focus is to convey to kids the importance of preserving the Earth while getting them excited about becoming involved in the project. She earned her B.A. from Louisiana State University in Mass Communication with a concentration in Advertising and a minor in Business Administration. For the past 6 years, Caroline has worked as a soccer coach, nanny, and youth group leader. With several years of marketing and event planning also under her belt, she is excited about launching new ideas and advocating greener habits to kids all over the country.
Vicki Scataglini founded Gaia Bag as a way to raise the level of awareness of an eco-friendly alternative to one time use plastic bags. After learning about the disastrous environmental impact these bags are having on our world, she initiated a grassroots effort to make a difference. Along with her friend, Tiffany Gordon they started a school fundraiser, the Canvas Bag Program, where children become sales persons, embracing the importance of reusable canvas shopping bags. She has held several successful grocery stores events and is hoping to broaden Gaias distribution in the near future. Vicki is a mother of two lovely children, Julia and Nicholas and wife to Diego, her number one supporter.

Students will begin to embrace the importance of recycling and apply this knowledge as proactive salespersons.
